Riddleport

As the port furthest north in Varisia, Riddleport is a town of Ill repute. Cutthroats, scoundrels and worse fill the city, and those making the justice are really just an organized band of thieves and bullies.

The secrets of the town, such as the giant archway, known as the Cyphergate, that all ships must pass through to dock entice scholars and learned peoples to come and gawk. Recent digging by these researchers hints that the massive arch might actually be just part of a ring that extends into the cliffs surrounding the port entrance. There are no clues made public as to the meaning or use of this ring.
